Our main areas

Where most of our installations, repairs and maintenance visits happen.

Greater London

Every borough, every day. Restaurants and takeaways in the West End and the City, convenience stores and bakeries across East and North London, wholesalers and cash and carry warehouses around Park Royal and the Lea Valley, and food retailers from Croydon to Enfield. See cold room installation in London for the London places we cover and what London buildings demand of a cold room.

Essex

From the London border at Romford and Ilford through Brentwood, Harlow and Chelmsford to Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and Colchester, and the food logistics operators along the Thames at Tilbury and London Gateway. Postcode areas RM, IG, CM, SS and CO. See cold rooms and walk-in freezers in Essex.

Kent

Dartford, Bromley and Orpington on the London side, the Medway towns, Maidstone, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells, Ashford, Canterbury and the Channel ports at Dover and Folkestone. Postcode areas DA, BR, ME, TN and CT. See cold room installation in Kent.

Surrey

Croydon, Sutton and Kingston inside the M25, and Epsom, Leatherhead, Woking, Guildford, Redhill and Reigate outside it, plus the Staines and Heathrow corridor. Postcode areas CR, SM, KT, GU, RH and TW. See cold room installation in Surrey.

Hertfordshire

Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Hatfield, Welwyn Garden City, Stevenage, Hertford and the Hertfordshire side of Enfield and Barnet are within our normal working area for installation, repair and maintenance, reached by the M1, A1(M) and M25. Postcode areas WD, HP, AL, SG and EN. Hertfordshire does not have a page of its own yet; the London page is the nearest guide to what we do there.

The rest of the UK

Outside London and the Home Counties we take on the projects where the size justifies the travel: cold stores and freezer stores, supermarket and cash and carry fit outs, food production facilities and multi-site maintenance contracts, anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales. For a single small cold room or a one-off repair in the Midlands or the North, a local company will usually be quicker and cheaper, and we will tell you so. Emergency repairs outside our main area are provided to maintenance contract customers.

Frequently asked questions

Which areas do you cover?

Greater London every day, from our base on Great Portland Street, and Essex, Kent, Surrey and Hertfordshire for installations, repairs and maintenance. Beyond that we take on larger installations, supermarket fit outs and multi-site maintenance contracts across the UK. If you are not sure, call +44 7879 685742 or send a quote request with your postcode and we will tell you straight away.

Do you install cold rooms outside London?

Yes. We install across the Home Counties as a matter of course, and larger cold rooms, cold stores and shop fit outs anywhere in the UK where the size of the project justifies the travel. A single small cold room in the north of England is usually better served by a local installer, and we will say so; a cold store, a supermarket refit or a group of sites is not.

Do you cover Essex, Kent and the Home Counties?

Yes. Essex (Romford, Ilford, Chelmsford, Southend, Colchester), Kent (Dartford, Bromley, Medway, Maidstone, Canterbury), Surrey (Croydon, Kingston, Epsom, Guildford, Woking) and Hertfordshire (Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage) are all within our normal working area for installation, repair and maintenance. Each county has its own page except Hertfordshire, which we cover from London.

Do you work in Manchester, Birmingham and the North?

For the right project, yes: cold stores, supermarket and cash and carry fit outs, food production facilities and multi-site maintenance contracts. We quote for projects of that size anywhere in England. For a single small cold room or a one-off repair in the Midlands or the North, a local company will usually be quicker and cheaper, and we will tell you that.

Do you work in Scotland and Wales?

For larger installations and contracts, yes, on the same basis as the north of England: we quote for cold stores, fit outs and multi-site maintenance across Great Britain, and we are honest when a local firm would serve you better for a small job. Emergency repairs outside London and the Home Counties are provided to maintenance contract customers.
